Kristofer Hivju & Gry Molvær

Most of us are familiar with Kristofer Hifju’s talents. He is widely credited for playing the role of Tormund Gianstbane in Game of Thrones. However, we should also get to know his equally impressive wife. Gry Molvær Hivju has been married to the actor for over six years. She also works in the entertainment scene as a screenwriter, producer, and filmmaker. One of her best works is the documentary Bit Ballerina Bulldog, which garnered a nomination for Best Documentary of the Year at the Bergen International Film Festival. She was also a producer on her husband’s series Twin.

The couple has two daughters. Reports say that Gry had a big part in Kristof’s decision to accept his part in Game of Thrones, given that their children were only toddlers at the time. Kristof is indeed lucky to have a good supportive family having his back.
